Soul crushing meetings + the TWO behaviours that actually drive results

4 MINUTE READ

We have all been in that soul crushing corporate meeting where you are frantically searching the room for a blunt object to smash your head against ....(too far?!). But it turns out there is a legitimate reason for your frustration. Pointless, ineffective meetings, simply put; 'wastes time that could have been spent focusing on high-value activities and moving the needle'.

The KEY to bringing people together is to make decisions and ensure continued alignment.  So in order to achieve this goal, intentional communication IS KEY.

  1. Decision Making and Debating

  2. Promises (Commitments)

  3. Requests

  4. Point Proving

  5. Info Sharing

  6. Sharing Oneself

Check out the full article below and the next time you step in to a meeting ensure there is an agenda that supports decision making.
