What we know for sure is that strong company cultures attract world class talent and retain high performers. But what EXACTLY defines a strong company culture, never mind that WHAT is company culture?

I guarantee if you start asking people at your office what they like about your company culture they are going to start talking about all the perks, “ping-pong table in the lunch room, free beer, every other Friday off”.

While these are great benefits here is the best definition of culture I have ever heard “There are three elements to a culture: behaviours, systems, and practices, all guided by an overarching set of values. A great culture is what you get when all three of these are aligned, and line up with the organization’s espoused values.”

What to know more and how to actually identify your culture and repair any of the gaps? Check out the article below from Harvard Business Review.

Report back! We want to know how YOU define your culture as it relates to your behaviours, systems and practices.
